Dr. Isabelle Assouline

Psychologist

Dr. Assouline is a clinical psychologist who received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Her therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic models to help clients navigate personal challenges and improve their relationships with themselves and others.

Dr. Assouline believes that therapy is about working collaboratively to better understand patterns of behavior and develop insight about oneself through the exploration of experiences and emotions. With warmth, empathy, and a supportive therapeutic relationship, she works with her clients to address their unique concerns, empowering them to create meaningful changes in their lives and interpersonal relationships.

Dr. Assouline has worked in hospital, university, and private practice settings. She has received specialized training in CBT for mood and anxiety disorders, including treatment for obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. She has experience helping individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and distress related to adjustment, relationships, and trauma.

Dr. Assouline is a current member of L’Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (Permit #15261-24).
