Audrey Richard is a Ph. D. candidate in Clinical Psychology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She is fluent in French and English and can conduct therapy in any of the two languages. Audrey uses a psychodynamic approach and has supported individuals facing a variety of difficulties such as mood and anxiety disorders, relational problems, low self-esteem, and trauma. Her expertise, developed through both research and experience, also extends to issues related to media and video game use.
As a therapist, Audrey aims to create a client-centered, safe, and comfortable environment. She values establishing a collaborative and authentic alliance with clients, tailoring her approach to each individual and their needs, objectives, and personal experience. Audrey approaches therapy with sensitivity and a deep curiosity about clients’ emotional and psychological lives. She believes in accompanying clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and others, and ultimately, empowering them to better navigate life’s challenges and make choices that are more in harmony with their desires, strengths, and limitations.
Audrey Richard is authorized to practice psychotherapy under the supervision of Dr. Jeff Anyan (Ordre des Psychologues du Québec; Permit #13548-19).
